My Name is E.L. Hutchison and I live in Washington state with my husband of 12 years and our four daughters. Along with my human family, we are blessed with two dogs; Dakota, who is a Welsh-Corgie / Blue Healer mix and is 9 years old. Titus, who is a Australian Cattle Dog / Lab mix and 4 years old. We also share our home with 4 cats (because of my aversion to mice); Jepeto, Lucy, Mr. Fluffers and Cosmo (who is name after the Fairly Odd Parents cartoon), not to mention the bevy of strays. My daughters have also adopted two racoons and have named them Reggie and Flower.
As you may have guessed IN THE HANDS OF THE GODS is my first novel and is available now from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid Division . Writing has been a life long passion for me and one I hope to continue with for a very long time. I am currently working on a series of stories featuring the legend of King Arthur, and hope to develop several books from the story. My daytime profession is that of a nurse and is also a life long passion of mine.
Along with writing and nursing I love to dabble with amature photography, specializing in nature photography, but I also love doing natural setting protraits of children. Most anytime in the summer you can find me gardening or doing some other activity out of doors. My children, husband, and I often go backpacking, sea kayaking and engage in many other outdoor activites. I hope that you enjoy my books as well as visiting me often.
